Great Compliment

"Holy Moly!" she exclaimed, "Mommy, look at those pretty underwear!" I turned around to find that the little girl, not a day over 2, was referring to MY lacy underthings. Aw shucks, that's the best compliment I've had in, well, days.

Not to mention that I had just finished a great run/swim brick, and broke my prior mile swim record by 5 minutes.

It's a good day.

Why was a little girl looking at your underwear? You left something out! :-)

Ha ha, I thought the "just after a swim" references would clue in the reader.

Yea, I was, um, in the locker room at the pool.

Five min. off a swim time is HUGE!

A five year old saying "holy moly"? I thought that phrase was something only my dad said! Too funny!
(Lacy underwear is even more necessary as one gets older!)

Oh, I read it wrong (am I flipping my numbers???) I said five...a two year old saying "holy moly" is even more precious!
And congrats on the swimming faster. I meant to say so in my first comment!
